The Indian Navy has released a detailed notification for the recruitment of Short Service Commission (SSC) Officers in the Executive, Education, and Technical Branches for the June 2025 course. Both male and female candidates interested in these posts can apply online between 14 September 2024 and 29 September 2024. Educational Qualification:
- Candidates must have completed a relevant degree (specific to the branch they are applying for) from a recognized university or institution.
- Engineering graduates, B.Sc., B.Tech, or equivalent degrees may be required depending on the specific branch (Executive, Technical, Education).
Age Limit:
- Executive Branch: Candidates must be born between 02 July 1999 and 01 January 2005 (both dates inclusive).
- Technical Branch: Candidates must be born between 02 July 1999 and 01 January 2005 (both dates inclusive).
- Education Branch: Candidates must be born between 02 July 1998 and 01 July 2002 (both dates inclusive).
Physical Standards:
- Minimum height for male candidates: 157 cm.
- Minimum height for female candidates: 152 cm.
- Weight should be proportionate to height and age as per naval standards.
Marital Status:
- Candidates should be unmarried at the time of application and must remain unmarried during the training period.
Nationality:
- Candidates must be Indian citizens.
