Indian Coast Guard (ICG) has released the notification for recruitment on a total of 630 posts of Yantrik (Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics) and Navik (General Duty & Domestic Branch) for CGEPT 01/2026 and 02/2026 batches. This recruitment is a great opportunity for those candidates who have passed 10th or 12th from Science stream or are Engineering Diploma holders.

The last date for online application for this recruitment is 25 June 2025, and the exam will be conducted in 3 stages – Stage I in September 2025, Stage II in November 2025, and Stage III in February 2026. People who are between 18 to 22 years of age are eligible for this recruitment. For Navik, it is mandatory to have Physics and Maths in 10+2, while for Mechanical one must have Diploma in Engineering.

Exam fee is ₹300 for General / OBC / EWS candidates, but there is no fee for SC / ST. Selection process includes Computer Based Test, Physical Fitness Test (PFT), Document Verification, and Medical Exam.

Salary is also quite attractive – ₹29200/- plus allowances are given for Mechanical post and ₹21700/- plus allowances are given for Mechanical post.
