1. Educational Qualification

• Minimum Qualification:
  • Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree (any discipline) from a recognized university or its equivalent qualification.
• Additional Requirements:
  • Proficiency in the local language of the state/region for which the candidate is applying.
  • Basic knowledge of computers is desirable.

2. Age Limit

• Minimum Age: 21 years

• Maximum Age: 30 years
  (As of 01/12/2024)

• Age Relaxation (as per government norms):

  • SC/ST: 5 years
  • OBC (Non-Creamy Layer): 3 years
  • PwD (General): 10 years
  • PwD (SC/ST): 15 years
  • PwD (OBC): 13 years
  • Ex-Servicemen: As per rules
  • Candidates domiciled in Jammu & Kashmir: 5 years

3. Nationality

• Candidates must be:
  • A citizen of India, or
  • A subject of Nepal or Bhutan, or
  • A Tibetan refugee who came to India before January 1, 1962, intending to settle permanently in India, or
  • A person of Indian origin who migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, or East African countries intending to settle permanently in India.

4. Local Language Proficiency

• Candidates must demonstrate proficiency in the local language of the state/UT for which they are applying. This may be assessed during the selection process.
