Step 1: Visit the Official Website

Go to the official website of your respective Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) zone or visit the centralized website:
https://www.rrbcdg.gov.in

Step 2: Click on the “CEN 01/2024 ALP” Recruitment Link

• On the homepage, click on the notification or apply link titled “CEN 01/2024 – Assistant Loco Pilot Recruitment.”

• A new page will open with the detailed instructions and ‘Apply Online’ button.

Step 3: One-Time Registration (OTR)

• If you’re a new user, click on “New Registration.”

• Choose your RRB zone (like RRB Ajmer, RRB Mumbai, etc.).

• Fill in your basic details:

  • Name (As per 10th certificate)

  • Father’s Name

  • Mother’s Name

  • Date of Birth

  • Aadhaar Number

  • Mobile Number

  • Email ID

  • Password creation

A verification link or OTP will be sent to your email/mobile number for confirmation.

Step 4: Login and Fill Application Form

• After successful registration, log in using your Registration ID and Password.

• Fill in the complete application form:

  • Personal details

  • Communication address

  • Educational qualification

  • Community/Category (UR/OBC/SC/ST/EWS)

  • PwBD/ExSM status (if applicable)

  • Language of exam

Step 5: Upload Documents

Upload the scanned copies of:

• Photograph (20 KB – 50 KB, JPG/JPEG, white background)

• Signature (10 KB – 40 KB, JPG/JPEG)

• Category Certificate / PwBD Certificate (if applicable, PDF format)

Make sure the documents are clear and as per the prescribed format.

Step 6: Pay the Application Fee

Select the mode of payment:

• Online: Net Banking / Credit Card / Debit Card / UPI

• Offline: Bank Challan (SBI)

Fee for reserved categories will be refunded (after appearing in CBT 1).

Step 7: Select Exam Preferences

• Choose exam language and exam center preferences (usually 5 options).

• Carefully select the railway zones you want to apply under.

Step 8: Preview and Final Submit

• Re-check all the filled details.

• Click on “Final Submit” once you’re sure.

Step 9: Print Application Form

• Download and take a printout of your completed application form and payment receipt for future reference.

Important Reminders:

• Keep your Registration ID & Password safe for further use (Admit Card, Result, etc.).

• Regularly check the official RRB website for updates on exam dates and admit cards.
