What is the RTSE (Rural Talent Search Examination)?

RTSE is a scholarship and opportunity-driven exam run by the LJMCT Trust to help talented students from underprivileged backgrounds access better education and related support. It focuses on academic subjects and reasoning appropriate to each class level.

Who can apply for RTSE 2025?

Students currently enrolled in classes 6th through 10th who reside in Chandauli district are eligible to apply. Please ensure you have proof of enrollment and local residence when submitting the form.

What are the important dates for RTSE 2025?

Key dates for RTSE 2025: Application opens: February 28, 2025 — Closes: Oct 01, 2025. Exam day: Oct 19, 2025 (Sunday).

How do I apply — online or offline?

What payment methods are accepted?

RTSE 2025 accepts UPI payments only (Paytm, Google Pay, PhonePe). Card or net-banking options are not available for this registration — please use a UPI app to pay the exam fee.

How much is the examination fee?

Fee structure: Classes 6–8: ₹50 + convenience fee. Classes 9–10: ₹100 + convenience fee. Keep a screenshot of your UPI receipt after payment.

What is the syllabus and exam pattern?

The test follows the NCERT curriculum for each class and covers Mathematics, Science, Hindi, English, Social Science, Current Affairs, and Reasoning. The exam is an OMR-based multiple-choice test with 100 questions, duration 90 minutes, bilingual (Hindi/English) and no negative marking.

When will admit cards be released?

Admit cards will be issued ahead of the examination date. Candidates should regularly check the official RTSE page or the registration portal for the exact release notice and download instructions.
