Indian Airforce Benefits of Agniveer (Agnipath) Scheme: Intake 01/2026

Eligibility for Agniveer Scheme
- Young individuals between the ages of 17.5 to 21 years can apply for this Agnipath scheme.
Service Duration
- Agniveers will serve in the Indian Airforce for a period of four years under this scheme.
Life Insurance Coverage
- Agniveers will be provided life insurance coverage of Rs. 48 Lakhs during their engagement period with the Indian Airforce.
Skill Set Certification
- After completing the service term, Agniveers will be awarded a Skill Certificate by the Indian Airforce, recognizing the skills acquired during the tenure.
Leave Entitlements
- Annual Leave: 30 Days
- Sick Leave: Based on medical advice.
